Think in terms of the output you want, then describe it as ranges.

• Single page: enter the same number for start and end, such as 4-4.
• A section: 12-30 keeps those pages together in one file.
• Several documents at once: give multiple ranges and each becomes its own PDF.
• Everything except a few pages: split around the pages you want to drop, then merge what remains.

Counting pages correctly

Page numbers here mean physical pages, counted from 1 at the cover. Printed page numbers often start later, after front matter, so a document whose text begins at "page 1" may really be on physical page 5. Check in a reader before entering ranges.

Splitting for privacy

Sending only the pages that are needed is the simplest way to avoid oversharing — a landlord asking for proof of income does not need your full statement history. Because splitting happens in your browser, the untouched pages are never transmitted anywhere in the process.
